Nigel Appleton
Nigel Appleton is Principal of Contact Consulting, a specialist research and consultancy business he established in 1995. The focus of his work is at the intersection of health, housing and social care; with a particular interest in the housing and care needs of older people and in services to enhance the independence and quality of life of disabled people and other vulnerable adults. read more
Steve Appleton
Steve Appleton has over twenty years experience in health and social care. He originally trained as a social worker and worked with adults with learning disability, older people and subsequently specialised in mental health services. His broader experience is comprised of operational, strategic and development roles in local authorities and the NHS. read more
Peter Molyneux
Peter Molyneux has extensive experience of working at the interface between the environment, health, housing and social care and particularly how the built environment impacts on peoples' health. Until 2000 he was Director of the Charity Health & Housing. Since then he has worked as a consultant in his own right and as an Associate Consultant with Contact Consulting. read more
Ian Salt
Ian Salt is available to work with Contact Consulting on selected assignments that do not give rise to conflicts of interest with his current, part-time, appointment with the Department of Health. Within the Department his current post as National Programme Lead for Physical and Sensory Impairment within the Care Services Improvement Partnership. read more
Martin Shreeve
Martin Shreeve was the Director of Social Services for Wolverhampton for 13 years between 1985 and 1998 when he was seconded to the Cabinet Office from 1998 to 2001 as Programme Director for The Better Government for Older People Programme. For ten years Martin was Chair of the Elderly Persons’ Committee of the Association of Directors of Social Services and a member of the ADSS Executive Committee. read more
